When the WebModel starts, the properties window appears on the right side of the browser window. It contains all the information and details about the viflow objects that were selected in the graphic or in the object list.

The properties window is divided into different groups. All content can be easily viewed by scrolling. The icons on the left side of the window identify the individual groups, indicate the current position within the window, and also allow direct access to other properties.

The elements contained in each group, such as key figures, criteria, or references, are often interactive. Clicking on them allows you to access further information or navigate directly to linked content. In addition, many elements offer further functions via the context menu.

The title bar contains various icons that allow you to mark the current object as a favorite, share content, pin the window, or manually expand and collapse it.

The viflow objects processes, information, and areas can be subscribed to and then accessed in the dashboard. This way, you always have important objects in view and are notified of changes.

1. To subscribe to a process or other object, click the star icon in the header of the properties window.
    The star will be highlighted in color, and the object will appear under your favorites in the dashboard.
2. Clicking the star icon again activates the comment function and a corresponding icon appears.
    The object is no longer a favorite, but you will be notified of all comments from WebModel users about this object.
3. Clicking the star icon again will remove the marker and you will not receive any information about object changes or comments.
   

Comments on objects

You can add comments to the individual process diagrams, for example, if you discover errors in the process or would like to make other comments.

How to comment on a trial

1. Click the Comments {{1}} button on the right side of the screen.
   
2. In the Comments window, click the Add button.
   
3. Enter your comment here and confirm by clicking the Comment button.
   The comment will be saved and can be viewed in the comment window or in the dashboard.
    At the same time, a notification icon appears next to the button showing the number of new comments.

Mark comment as read or delete

Once you have read a comment, you can mark it as read using the Done button.
To delete a comment, click on the [...] icon in the top right corner of the comment window and select Delete.
After clicking Reopen, the comment is marked as unread and appears under Open.

Display options of the properties window

The properties window is displayed on the right side of the browser window in the WebModel and can be shown in different ways:

• Attach window
  Click the pin icon {{1}} to permanently display the window. The icon will be highlighted in color.
  With the Hide button {{2}} You can hide the window at any time. Clicking on Properties or Comments will then show it again.
• Automatic folding and unfolding
  If the pin icon is not activated (and not highlighted), the properties window is automatically shown and hidden. In this state, only the corresponding button {{3}} remains visible on the right edge of the window.
  The properties window will only expand when you move the mouse pointer over the button.
  
  This setting is particularly suitable for smaller monitors or when as much space as possible is needed to display the graphics.

Sharing process graphics and objects

Using the share function in the properties window, you can share the displayed content – e.g., a specific graphic – via email, Microsoft Teams, or via a link in other ways.
To do this, click the Share button and select from the three options:

1. e-mail
   An email window opens. The subject line and body of the email contain the name of the object that was previously displayed in the properties window. The link is also inserted in the body of the email.
2. Microsoft Teams
   This opens the Microsoft Teams web application in the browser. The text field displays the name of the previously displayed object and its link.
3. Copy link
   This copies the link to the clipboard.
