Settings in the new WebModel

Numerous settings are available in the WebModel. Some of these apply only to your personal work environment, while others affect all users of the WebModel. 
Click the gear icon in the menu bar to open the settings. 
There you can switch between the Personal and Administration sections.
Personal settings
Under Appearance, select the Light or Dark color scheme. By default, the system settings are used.
The user interface and content languages can be set separately.
Connection to Active Directory
In the lower section of the settings, you can see whether a connection to Active Directory exists.
This determines whether the personalized WebModel with dashboard and associated functions is available. 
It also shows which viflow version was used to create the WebModel.
Administrative settings
Homepage
By default, the WebModel opens with the homepage graphic. You can select a different page or display the dashboard here.
If you use the anonymous WebModel, the graphic selected here will always be displayed.
Main window
Here you specify which windows open when the WebModel starts. Depending on your workflow and the size of your monitor, it may be useful to initially leave the object list and the properties window collapsed.
The context menu The feedback button can also be deactivated. However, we always welcome your feedback on viflow and the WebModel.
Visible modules
Here you can hide modules you don't need. To access all content, all modules should be displayed.
Dashboard widgets
In the dashboard, you can manually show or hide all widgets. Dashboard widgets that are deselected here are not visible to the user and cannot be shown again.
List of objects
Under Views per object type you specify whether the main viflow objects, i.e. processes, information and areas, are displayed in the structure view (hierarchical representation) or in the folder view.
For processes, we recommend the structure view (standard), as it provides a clear overview of the entire process model and its hierarchical structure.
In contrast, information and areas can often be displayed better in the folder view, as they are structured there according to their respective types.
Properties window
You can show or hide the groups available in the properties window here.
Please note that groups without content are automatically hidden. Groups that you deactivate here will not be displayed even if they contain content.
Own hyperlinks
In the WebModel's menu bar, you can add and directly access up to ten of your own hyperlinks. The display name and address are managed in this area.
Feedback
Using the optional feedback button in the menu bar, you can, for example, send feedback to the process owner regarding the currently displayed content of the web model. Enter the owner's email address and, optionally, a CC address.
By default, the button leads to the viflow feedback page.
We always welcome suggestions, comments and feedback on our software.
Search index
The search index is updated daily and with every WebModel export. If you experience problems with your search or suspect that the update has not occurred, you can manually rebuild the index using the Rebuild Index function.
appearance
Here you define the accent color of the WebModel. Additionally, you can select a custom color, adjust the font size, and upload your own company logo, which will be displayed in the top left corner instead of "viflow".
For optimal loading times, we recommend using a web-optimized logo with the smallest possible file size.
