What is the Windows Hosting Bundle needed for?
The viflow WebModel is more than a static website – it's a standalone application that requires various components for smooth operation and full use of all features, including the cockpit, commenting functionality, and more. These essential components are provided during the installation of the Windows Hosting Bundle.
Which viflow versions require the update to Hosting Bundle 10.0?

Up to and including viflow version Q4/2026, the ››› Windows Hosting Bundle 10.0 is required.

Up to and including viflow 10/9 from version Q4/2026, the ››› Windows Hosting Bundle 10.0 needed.
Which viflow version do you use?
In the viflow menu, under File – Help – About viflow, you can find the installed version.
Does the "old" Hosting Bundle need to be uninstalled afterwards?
No.
You can install both versions in parallel without restricting the functionality of the WebModel. There is therefore no reason why you should not initially run versions 10.0 AND f.e. 8.0. The older Hosting Bundle can be uninstalled later, as it will no longer be required by future viflow versions.
