{{silver}}Team Modeling is available in the viflow editions silver and gold (not in viflow blue).{{end}}
The following variants are available for team modeling with an SQL database, which can be combined with the options listed below:
Normal Mode
After saving the process model as an SQL database, you can start modeling immediately. At the same time, other users can work directly in the database, so it can happen that the work of a user is overwritten by the user who saved last.
This "open" mode is suitable if you only work with a few users in viflow and they agree on the use of the database before modeling.
For more information about this mode, see ››› Normal mode.
Single User Mode
Here the process model is automatically locked as soon as someone is connected to the database. This means that only one modeler can work at a time - if a second person wants to open the database, they will receive a message telling them who is currently working in the model. Only after closing is the database released again and can be used by another modeler.
For more information about this mode, see ››› Single User mode.
Working with Draft/Main Version
This variant comes closest to the "SPM" known from earlier viflow versions in terms of the procedure with master and client files. The difference is that now all clients work in one model at the same time and the person responsible for the model can use the main version to control which client content is to be adopted.
For more information about this mode, see ››› Draft and Main version.
