Historization in viflow from version 7
Applies to: viflow (subscription | 9 | 8 | 7) | Article: 1342731 | Updated on 16.04.2024
Together with the function of the ››› process approval workflow, viflow offers various options for documenting and editing changes in the process model (also retrospectively).
What's new in historization?
Since version viflow 7, the process model history has consisted of a model version and an object version.
- The model version is ideal for documenting specific work or operations on the process model (e.g. "procurement processes revised"). In this way, you will later find all changes to the operation listed in a model version.
- The object version, on the other hand, refers to the changes made to the individual viflow objects, for example to processes, information or areas.
Possibilities of historization your process model
-
Manual historization
You determine when and after which changes a history entry should be made. -
Automatic historization
After saving the process model, the history window opens automatically, in which the changes must be documented. -
Automatic historization with process release workflow
The procedure corresponds to the automatic historization. In addition, the program supports you from the start of the workflow ("In progress") to the release of the process.
