Replacing the “viflow.exe.config” file

The viflow.exe.config file is a configuration file that stores important viflow default settings. It may happen that one or more settings in the file need to be changed for certain questions and problems.
Our support team will either provide you with a revised file to replace in the program directory or a detailed description of which entries in the file need to be changed.
Administrator rights required
Please note that you need administrator rights to edit the program directories – including changing the viflow.exe.config!
Exchange of the configuration file
You will receive the file or the download link from our viflow support after prior consultation/problem analysis.
- Download the customized viflow.exe.config and save it in any directory.
- Open the viflow program directory in Windows Explorer and copy the downloaded file directly into the viflow program directory (see below). Confirm with Yes when asked whether the file should be overwritten.

Changing the configuration file
If you would like to change certain entries in the viflow.exe.config file after consulting viflow support, open the file in an editor and enter the new values. Close the file and save the changes.
