Working with backup files
Create backup files of process models
viflow process models can be created automatically or after specific actions. The backup files are saved in *.vfbx format.
When and where a backup of the process model should be created can be set under ››› File – Options – Backup.
Delete
If possible, do not save your process models on your computer, but on a network drive that is backed up regularly, or on an external data medium.
Restore backup files
- In the viflow File menu, click on the Open command or alternatively press the key combination [CTRL+O].
- Highlight the Computer item and click the Browse button.
If you know where to find the file, you can directly open one of the recently used folders. - Select the viflow Backup File (*.vfbx) and click the Open button.
The process model opens. - On the File tab, click Save As and choose the location and file name of the new process model.
Click the Save button.
The process model is saved as a "normal" viflow process model (with the file extension *.vfpx) and can be used.
